FW came in from 7:00 level attacking B-17 to our left. I opened fire and caught him in a blast at 100 yards. Parts of the tail blew off and he went straight down burning. Our ball turret was able to see this FW crash on the ground.

FW 190 came circling straight up from below. I caught him in my fire as he pointed his nose up at about 150 yards. This FW 190 blew up and completely disintegrated.

1 109 came in from 7:00 low. I started firing at 800 yards. He kept coming in. I kept firing ... He had closed to 100 yards and was at 10:00 when flames started coming out from root of right wing and he started down in a dive still burning and pilot bailed out.
