Welcome to the Web site of the 92nd USAAF-USAF Memorial Association. This site will gradually be built up to provide the histories of its organizations: 92nd Bomb Group (H), the longest serving organization of the 8th Air Force and its unbroken line of succeeding organizations: 92nd Bomb Wing (H), SAC's Premier Bomb Wing; 92nd Air Refueling Wing, the Warriors of the North; and the reactivated 325th Bomb Squadron of the 509th Wing, Today's Fame's Favored Few.
This Web site contains historical and current data on the performance and accomplishments of the men and women flying, maintaining and supporting the B-17, B-29, B-36, KB-29, B-52, KC-135 and B-2. It is dedicated to those 92nd Bomb Group types who served in the 8th Air Force in World War II and in SAC in Korea; those of the 92nd Bomb Wing in refueling and bombing operations in Viet Nam, Desert Express, Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Desert Calm; those of the 92nd Air Refueling Wing in Vigilant Warrier, Provide Comfort and Allied Force and those of the 325th Bomb Squadron flying th B-2 on 30-hour missions in Allied Force. Each organization and its entities will be shown on their own virtual Web site.
We appreciate input from former and current members of organizations and their entities which constitute the 92nd USAAF-USAF Memorial Association and of course other interested people whose activities and interests provide sources of additional information.
