Indicate source of information.    Above EM and myself were captured from prisoners who entered 17B in Austria. We learned the pilot and tail gunner had returned to England. Since returning home have had mail from pilot Goldstein, navigator Brill, two waist gunners Mucci and Mahne and tail gunner Scott. Pilot tells me ... bombardier Maloney still in service in states.

Any explanation of his state based in part or fully on supposition:   Lt. Casey was with Sgt. Scott after leaving our ship. I have talked with Lt. Jasman of crew who reported he was with Casey and Scott and Goldstein and they all got out by French underground to Spain and were returned to England and later to USA.

Any heresay information:   Yes. On returning to the USA I talked with the pilot Goldstein, Coleman. From the conversation we held I understand he and Casey crossed the Pyrenees Mountains into Spain. When leaving plane Casey was with Scott Onr and Goldstein with Jasman, Georgia. Some later date, the four men split up again with Casey and Goldstein together and Scott and Jasman together.
